I can only speculated why a great uncle would chose to leave his inheritance to the youngest child of his nephew, but so be it. I have seen it written in many publications that William was assumed to be the oldest child. That has also created confusion about how members of the family were related.
Margaret VernerUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06237767936320382184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2705771450596300887.post-29025483425953763192016-02-07T05:45:52.395+00:002016-02-07T05:45:52.395+00:00Greating! From my research I am descended from Thomas Verner who left Belfast/Dublin area with his wife Priscilla Jacques and his brother William and settled in Schuylkill, PA involved in coal mining and banking. It is clear both Thomas and William are sons of Thomas Verner Jr. Last mayor of Belfast, whose father was lt col.Thomas Verner Elder brother of Sir William Verner. Very little is available about Thomas Verner Jr, who his wife was and his children. He was also involved in mining in Ireland. For years I have been trying to find information but not being in Ireland, I have yet to uncover much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
LLbigbeach@gmail.com
Margaret VernerUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06237767936320382184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2705771450596300887.post-18175697827429766612014-09-03T23:05:20.617+01:002014-09-03T23:05:20.617+01:00Amy if you can confirm your date of birth and that...Amy if you can confirm your date of birth and that of your father we can begin an enquiry.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2705771450596300887.post-22449294977581942742014-08-06T21:10:47.043+01:002014-08-06T21:10:47.043+01:00I am Amy Dyan Verner
