I was very involved in helping Jill McIvor at Ballance House, what a wonderful job she did. My Great Great grandfather we...Interesting reading. My Great Great grandfather went out to Wellington from Scotland three years previous to Ballance. He set up a store on Wellington Harbour front called Kirkaldie and Stains and it is still there to this day.
