Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth
The Queen Mother enjoyed a modest restorative occasionally. We have that in common. Queen Elizabeth's daughter, Her Majesty The Queen, has acquired similar tastes with regard to liquor: a concoction of
gin and dubonnet.
I prefer to take a hip-flask with me occasionally; the preferred mixture of Scotch and Drambuie contained therein. It is known as a
rusty nail.
Lord Belmont - another great post as usual. What are the proportions for a rusty nail - I'd like to try one!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, if you don't mind me asking, what's going on with your posting name: Timothy F****S?? Doesn't seem to fit with the respectable tone of your blog!
I mix roughly 75% whisky with 25% Drambuie to taste. The quantity of liquor depends on how sweet you like it.
ReplyDeleteI decided to use my real name for posting, with the asterisks for anonymity.

BTW, the Onoto pen is still away being repaired. I'll post a blog about it when it returns. I recall your comment about the Mont Blanc!
