Minnowburn Ragwort

I spent several hours at Minnowburn today, a property of the National Trust and a very special place indeed.

There were fifteen or twenty of us, supplemented by Lagan Valley volunteers. We were extracting young ragwort from a very large field, beside the warden's office and the allotments.

I've been suffering from a nasty cold lately. It would have been tempting to go to the Jubilee show at Hillsborough, though tickets were required and I considered it too late as usual.
