Princess Anne Visit

THE PRINCESS ROYAL conferred city status on Bangor, County Down, yesterday, the 2nd December, 2022.

Bangor is now one of six cities in Northern Ireland, including Belfast, Londonderry, Armagh, Lisburn, and Newry.

Belfast was granted city status by Queen Victoria in 1888.
