Family of Cairns

I've been at the Linenhall Library for two hours this afternoon, researching the noble family of Cairns, from whom the Earldom of Cairns descends.

I have collated much information and I'll be publishing a revised article, entitled the Earldom of Cairns, imminently.

I have already drafted the piece and I am writing to Lord Cairns at his rural seat, Bolehyde Manor, to inform him of my work.
