Baronetage Conclusion

Sadly drawing to a conclusion of my complete Ulster Baronetage series (which will be repeated with minor editorial revisions later), the oldest baronetcies - several still extant - are O'Neill, Stewart, Staples, Acheson, Skeffington, Macdonnell, Leigh and Gore.

I hope readers have found the series to be of some interest and, of course, if I have inadvertently omitted any NI baronetcies, please do let me know!

I enjoyed the series immensely.
Please don't run out of steam!

Full steam ahead! I carry on with the country house series; and I'll repeat the baronetcies from the 1960s.

Still plenty of country houses and untitled 'old families' left, Tim - although I imagine these are more difficult if you don't have a personal contact, as their histories tend not to be so widely published.

I'd be reliant on some of the more obscure (no offence intended) families to make contact and provide me with information, so that I can proceed.

I tend to use the "yardstick" of inclusion in Burke's Landed Families.
