Blandings at Crom

I'll be tuned in to BBC One this evening at six-thirty for the first episode of the brand new comedy drama series, Blandings, based on the Wodehouse novels.

It has been produced on location at Crom Castle, County Fermanagh.

Good to see Crom Castle on TV, but shame about the terrible acting and production values. VC

So far, the star of the show is Crom!

Does your Lordship agree with me that it is a mistake to to think that Wodehouse can be dramatised? He, after all, created a magical picture using the English language; after all, can you film "a perfect smile"? Bereft of the brilliance of the language, it is merely a series of tiresome tittle-tattle!

Well I enjoyed for what it was -- superb TV comedy. I found it was nice to laugh out loud. I am very much looking forward to the next series. Atrebatus.
