Your pictures of Downhill House are fantastic! I have been enthralled by the Demesne since I was a child when my parents bought a Holiday Home in Castlerock. I was only up round the ruins and Black Glen last Wednesday, and at 31yrs old I am still completely mesmerized by it. Where on Earth are you finding such wonderful photos of Downhill in its former glory??? I can find plenty of information, to a point, on the history of the demesne, by as for photos, there are only a handful that I can find. The 3 new photos that you have brought to my attention of the fine residence with ivy up its Ashlar facade, and the West Side of the House with Lanyons re-designed entrance after the great fire, and the centaur the welcomed guests at the front were amazing. Can you possibly dig up any more pictures? Kind regards, Brian
