I've spent the day with other National Trust volunteers on Chapel Island, Greyabbey. By Jove, the weather was quite awful - blustery, wet, lashing rain at the northern end. We were doing a litter lift and repairing some fencing.
There were about seven of us and we had our lunch at the side overlooking the mainland. The quad bike was driven over with a trailer in order that we could carry the litter back.
