Lifer Spotted
There was a lifer on the flight this afternoon; and he bagged Seat 1c, too, which seemed to have more leg-room. I noticed none other than Lord Maginnis.

I think he is (or was) very ill, Tim. I like to think I'd never accept a life peerage - it's really a very silly concept.

Especially after what "new" Labour has done. The House is a pale shadow following their biased laws banning hereditary peers from their rightful place.
Agreed, not to mention that dubious folly - the Supreme Court.
