Several choristers from NI were selected to sing at the Coronation - one of whom was my late father
I wouldn't have fancied standing all day in the rain in London but I did enjoy the spectacle and pomp on television. It wasn't as pared back from 1953 as had been feared. Good luck to The King and Queen. They seem gracious and happy and I hope they will be glorious too. Didn't the Prince of Wales's whole family do well too, even the little boy?
‘Twas so historic, with the great splendour and magnificence of the pomp and pageantry only we can generate with such aplomb.
