The latest announcement of another boutique hotel for the city of Belfast - on the County Down side of the River Lagan - has come from the Titanic Quarter Limited.
It will be located at the old GHQ of Harland and Wolff at Queen's Island; and it shall have ninety bedrooms. The building itself is a hundred years old; and shipyard directors, such as Lord Pirrie, had their offices here.
It would seem that restoration and any extensions to the building will be sympathetic; and its theme will be evocative of the great liner herself, RMS Titanic.

90 bedrooms sounds like rather a large hotel. Wouldn't have known that still qualified as 'boutique'.
Must be on the periphery! :-)
I think it's such a pity that such a historical building is only going to be frequented by the travelling tourist. Surely it's the obvious place for a maritime/Titanic museum?
