The Northern Ireland Office has issued colourful photographs of HM Lord-Lieutenant for County Down; the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland; His Worship the Mayor of Lisburn; and the First Minister of Northern Ireland.
The Queen's Representative, Political leaders, the newly elected Mayor of Lisburn and senior military personnel joined with community representatives from across Northern Ireland on Saturday, 2nd June, to celebrate Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee.
The event organised by the Lisburn City Council, took place against the magnificent backdrop of Hillsborough Fort and Hillsborough Castle, Her Majesty's official residence in Northern Ireland.
The second picture shows the Hillsborough Old Guard Re-enactment members.
The Most Hon Arthur Francis Nicholas Wills [Hill], 9th and present Marquess of Downshire, is the 13th Hereditary Constable of Hillsborough Fort.
